This will be our FAB Naming Convention.

FAB1xxx
All modules related to providing power to our FAB Modules.  This will include modules related to AC-to-DC power sources (line level, 110V or 220V AC operation), or DC-DC converters, voltage regulators both Linear and Switching, including isolated and non-isolated outputs.

FAB2xxx
All modules related to the Input Section. These will include XLR Female jacks, TRS jacks, Input Transformers, Balanced Line Receivers, Mic Input Modules, Returns, DI (High-Z) inputs, etc.

FAB3xxx
All modules related to the Output Section. These will include XLR Male jacks, TRS jacks, Output Transformers, Balanced Line Drivers, Sends, Auxilliary Outputs, etc.

FAB4xxx
All modules related to amplification, either of mic-level or line-level signals.  These can be discrete electronics, or IC opamp chips, or SOC (Systems on a Chip).

FAB5xxx
All modules related to signal processing, this includes but is not limited to Equalization, compression, reverb, delay, filtering, etc.

FAB6xxx
All modules related to Human User Input Interface, which includes but not limited to potentiometers, switches, buttons, touch-sensitive panels, etc.

FAB7xxx
All modules related to Human User Output Interface, basically all visual related output modules, like LED indicator lamps, VU Meters, LCD screens, etc.

FAB8xxx
All modules related to Digital Logic, including but not limited to microprocessors and other logic control circuits.

FAB9xxx
All miscellaneous modules. If there’s anything I missed, or something that doesn’t fit neatly into any of the above categories, we’ll put there here.
